Complexed Prostate-Specific Antigen and its diagnostic importance.(abstract)
Introduction of Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) serum level determination to urological routine practice has led to identification of multiple asymptomatic forms of clinicaly localized prostate cancer, which is the second of main causes of mortality in men due to malignant neoplasms, and one of the most urgent problems of modern oncology. In the article data on different ways of PSA assessment (determination of total, free and Alpha-1 Antichymotrypsin-Bound PSA) are presented.
