Hemopoetic growth factors regulate survival and proliferation of early precursors, and also differentiation of commitated and functional activity of mature cells. Today all actively functioning factors produced by cells, including growth factors, are called «cytokines». The literature review present information on characteristics, origin and functions of main cytokines regulating hemopoesis and immunogenesis, and also describe cell targets and their activities.
